The slogan is clear. “Eat, drink, stay.” And that’s just what you’ll do when you walk into the Austin Terrier, one of Austin’s newest and tastiest eating establishments. Founder Jamie Durnil sat down with the Austin iLab to talk about how his pet project is taking Austin by storm.
Jamie doesn’t own a Boston Terrier and is actually a recent transplant to Texas. But the menu he’s created at Austin Terrier suggests he’s a lifelong Austinite. There are pizzas like the Travis Pie – feta, artichoke hearts, black olives, red onions, and oregano – and sandwiches like the Buster – chicken breast, mushrooms, red onions, red peppers, and melted brie. Soups, salads, desserts and a kid friendly menu abound. There’s also a lengthy craft beer and wine list, and plenty of vegan and gluten free options.
Listen in to find out more about what’s going on in the Austin Terrier’s kitchen and how they’re using social media and other innovations to help patrons “eat, drink, stay” at the Austin Terrier.
